Mike Paradinas has teamed up with his beloved wife Lara Rix-Martin to produce Heterotic’s debut LP Love & Devotion. The first track released from this sweet collabo, featuring Vezelay, is an electronic, indie sound by the name of Rain. Giving a slow, sensual, soothing effect, ‘Rain’ is full of high pitched vocals, sketchy album work and a catchy, mesmerising hook.
The use of tonal changes brings to mind comparisons with the likes of SOHN and the odd influence of the great musician that is James Blake. With lots of fire and the effect of a third world realm, here is Heterotic with ‘Rain’.
