Jesse Kendal unveils a stunning split single, ‘Little Bloom/Northern Light’

Australian musician and producer Jesse Kendal released his latest single, ‘Little Bloom/ Northern Light,’ via [BIOS] on March 20th, 2024. Praised by CLASH Magazine and featured on BBC Radio 6 and RTÉ 2FM’s Jenny Greene (The Greene Room Show), the track was written, produced, and mastered by Kendal and Zino Mikorey (known for work with Nils Frahm, Rival Consoles and Christian Löffler). Influenced by Nils Frahm, George FitzGerald, and Stimming, Kendal’s blend of electronic and acoustic elements appeals to fans of PALLADIAN, KOSCO, and Mellowdine. With comparisons to Tourist, Bonobo, and Tycho, his music evokes a deeply human and emotionally charged aesthetic. Formerly releasing under the name Kendal since 2017, Jesse has amassed over 16 million streams across platforms, gaining recognition from notable publications like Huffington Post, Magnetic Magazine, Dancing Astronaut, YourEdm, Earmilk, Stereofox, and Purple Sneakers.

‘Little Bloom/Northern Light’ transports listeners to ethereal realms, guiding them through distant dreamscapes that evoke a sense of both intimacy and vastness. The peaceful, inviting tones of delicate synth melodies and softly played piano form a sublime canvas for this musical gem. With a gradual tempo build, the track envelops its audience in a cascade of joy, inducing a serene and contented tranquility.

Kendal divulged: “These two tracks emerged during a period when I was striving to bring more connection and positivity into my life. Writing from that mindset brought what I feel is a warm and open embrace to these two tracks. My desire is to produce electronic music that feels more human than electronic and to emanate a propulsive positive energy.”
