Rising electronic producer dj poolboi has shared his latest single ‘take me far away’  – which appears on his upcoming LP, stay just a little while longer set to be released on the 4th of March 2022 via Unbelievably Spectacular Records.

The Austin, Texas-based producer has been compared to artists such as Ben Bohmer, Christian Loffler and Stephan Bodzin. No stranger on the circuit, he has shared stages with the likes of Ross From Friends, Baltra, Chaos in the CBD, DJ Seinfeld, George Fitzgerald and park hye gin to name a few. 

On ‘take me far away’ dj poolboi experiments with sounds and genres. “I wanted to expand my sound into new areas of emotion and genre, and experiment with different instruments to capture a feeling of frenetic dissociation I began to feel at the time of its writing”, he says

Although the track is pacey and embellished with a myriad of electronic textures, it is also surprisingly meditative. A terrific feat of conflicting emotions, ‘take me far away’ is a consistently intriguing experiment that offers new rewards with each listen.

 “I wrote it out of a need to begin a new era in my music and my life”, dj poolboi explains
