Out today via eViVE Recordings, LËPTIC’s new single ‘Ngiyajola’ continues the Vancouver producer’s steady rise in the Afro House world. Released as part of the Textures of Sound VA under the VIVa MUSiC Group, the track highlights his gift for melodic, atmospheric production that connects both emotionally and on the dancefloor.
With releases on SOM and Harmor Records, and a 2024 opening set for Meduza at UBC’s Blockparty Festival, LËPTIC has quickly become one of Afro House’s standout new names. Influenced by Arodes, Andrea Oliva, and Shimza, he builds his sound around rhythm, texture and mood, creating tracks that balance introspection with movement.
‘Ngiyajola’ captures that balance through deep tribal percussion, rich melodic layers and soulful Zulu-inspired vocals. The result is a warm, hypnotic track that feels equally suited to sunset sets and packed clubs.
“‘Ngiyajola’ is a track that captures the energy of Afro House while keeping it deeply emotional and atmospheric,” says LËPTIC. “I wanted it to feel like a journey that’s calm enough for sunset listening but powerful enough to move a crowd.”
