On July 18, 2025, Nativalien, the electronic alias of Qais Khoury, released his new single ‘On & On’ featuring his side project Pinwheel Valley through Hot Soap Records. A multi-instrumentalist and vocalist with roots stretching from Amman to London, Vancouver, and now Cyprus, Khoury channels his cross-cultural influences into Deep and Melodic House and Techno as Nativalien. Since earning his stripes at Point Blank Music College in 2014, he’s kept a low profile while building a robust catalog. His Pinwheel Valley project boasts over 2 million streams, with shout-outs in CLASH Magazine, NOTION, Earmilk, and Billboard Argentina, alongside airplay on BBC Radio London and BBC Radio Sheffield, showcasing his knack for crafting emotionally resonant electronic music.
‘On & On’ delivers a punchy dose of deep vocal house, blending sharp piano stabs, taut drum patterns, and gritty urban flourishes. The track marries radiant, sunlit vibes with a driving dancefloor pulse, elevated by emotive vocals that hit with raw intensity. Echoing the sonic palettes of Cubicolor, Durante, and Elderbrook, it’s a finely tuned balance of melody and rhythm that begs for late-night spins.
“I created this track to shape Nativalien’s bold sonic identity — a vibrant blend of piano-driven, vocal-laced house music made for the dancefloor. Centered on a soaring grand piano melody, the soundscape builds with rhythmic shakers and gritty police sirens, evoking sunlit beach parties straight out of a Slim Aarons photo. As Pinwheel Valley, I performed the topline vocals, aiming for the emotional punch of Years & Years’ Desire. The focus was to achieve something both rhythmically charged and melodically rich,” Qais Khoury explains. With ‘On & On’, Nativalien solidifies his place in the deep house scene, delivering a track that’s both a personal statement and a club anthem.
