Eole’s New Extravagant French House EP From Yesterday Until Tomorrow

French artist Maxence Janvrin, better known as Eole, has released a new two-track EP, From Yesterday Until Tomorrow, via Enchanté Records. After actively DJing in Paris for the last 5 years, and gaining inspiration from hot contemporary artists like Fred Again…, Sammy Virji and Kaytranada, Eole’s captivating sound dares to reinvigorate French House. Despite this being Eole’s debut release, the young producer has already worked with luxury brands and tastemakers, composing tracks and scores for Kourtrajmé, Gucci, Arte, Charles de Vilmorin, Zalando, Rochas and Palais de Tokyo. Not to mention holding the title as French music ambassador for JBL Europe. From Yesterday Until Tomorrow is set to further solidify Eole as a stalwart in French House and beyond.

Spawning richly-textured and tight UK House beats with a distinctly Parisian palette, From Yesterday Until Tomorrow is a mosaic of Eole’s hybrid influences. Embossed with glittering melodies which dance over pulsing breakbeat rhythms, glitched out vocal tracks pan and telescope in stereo. Both new tracks draw out an irreverently fresh summer sound filled with psychedelic avenues and ambient patches. From Yesterday features warbling synths and heavy bass filtered through a happy haze. Creating a perfect blend between minimal and nuanced. The EP’s featured track Until Tomorrow’ debuted on Deep House Sweden – a dance-ready daze that pulls no punches and subtly draws you in with hypnotic vocals.

With the release of his new EP, Eole commented: “I wanted to break down the boundaries that French artists set for themselves, to dare to cross oceans with relevant music. All the experiences I’ve had with Gucci, JBL, Zalando, Foot Locker and even Kourtrajme have pushed me to assert myself with this project. I’ve been waiting for this moment for 15 years, to unleash the beast in the arena, so that Eole can finally starts blowing the storm.”
